To Whom It may concern: Stephanie Destatte was my Buyer's agent for a home that I bought in the Huntington Harbour area, Sept. 2012. Stephanie did a very good job, was very patient, always well prepared, and responsive to my questions. I believe I took more than a year to decide on a home. The fact that I stayed with Stephanie for about one year speaks for itself. I did most of my own searching, but she usually added a few prospects of her own. Several times she told me of homes that were about to come onto the market so that I could get a first look. She also seemed to be very knowledgeable of short sale procedures, as well. She made use of an online documentation method to avoid time consuming faxes, which I was not aware of prior to starting the process. Stephanie was also very helpful in negotiating items that were not included in the sale and follow-up after the sale. Stephanie was very detailed in going over missing or malfunctioning items concerning the home, including the inspector's check-list. She also created a check-list calendar for the entire sale process, which helped to track the progress of the sale. When I made my final choice, she said that I should not feel obligated, and if for any reason it did not seem right, then I could back out within the normal given timeframe. In short, she never pushed any particular home -- never pressured me to make a decision. I definitely would use her services again.

We would have never bought a house if it wasn't for Stephanie. I stumbled upon her accidentally while inquiring about a house online. To be honest, we weren't even serious buyers until we met her. We had started toying with the idea of possibly buying a house since both the prices and the rates were low at the time. We looked at some houses online and decided to contact someone to do a viewing on one "just to get our feet wet" on how the process works.
